Time scales
Our Wedding isn’t for 14 months, we have decided to order our stationery with you but we don’t have final numbers or anything. How do we reserve our booking for a future date?
We advise that you let us know that you intend to place an order as soon as you have decided no matter how long away your wedding is.
We are a large family run business and we print, design and finish everything here. As we are not a Wedding Stationery Reseller we like to plan as much in advance as possible. Please help us by letting us know your intention to order as soon as you have decided.
You do have the option to book by paying a £10.00 refundable deposit. Once this is paid you will get access to the “Guest Notebook” where you can start to update all your wedding details.
We have paid our deposit, we are ready to order, and how do we do it?
Please order online, select your Wedding Stationery Design and update the basket with your requirements. If you have paid a deposit you would have received a unique deposit paid code to use.
We haven’t confirmed a booking or paid a deposit, we just want to order now. How do we do this?
Please just place your order directly on the website.
How long does the proofing stage take?
On average it usually takes about 3-5 days from locking your data to a signed off set of proofs. Please allow at least 7 days.
How long does it take for us to receive our stationery?
Once you have signed off your proofs it takes 14 days for delivery.
Where can we update the “Guest Notebook” information?
As the Wedding Guest Notebook is on the web, you can update your information anywhere, at home, at work, at your Mums, friends. It's perfectly easy and so flexible.
Guest Information
Where do we put all our Guests Names and addresses so that you can print them on our Invitations?
We give you your own personal “Guest Notebook” where you can update all the information we need. Guest names as on the Invitation, Guest Name for Envelope, Guest Address.
Where do we choose our wording for the Save the dates, Wedding Invitations and RSVPs ?
In the “Guest Notebook” you can select from some wording options that we suggest or you can write your own. It’s completely up to you.
How do we update all the information for the Notes Cards, Menus, Order of Services, Table Name Cards, Place Name Cards and Table Plans?
Again in your “Guest Notebook” you can update everything we need in here. It really is simple.
Colours and Bespoke Design
When ordering online there is no way of specifying our chosen print colours?
We don't specify a colour option on the web as we have an unlimited number of colours. This is something we clarify with you personally.
There is something we would like to change about the stationery design, is this possible?
Yes, everything is created here for you ‘from scratch’, therefore we are more than happy to change anything for you.
We would like to add ribbon to our Invitation, can we do this and how much extra will it cost?
You can add any ribbon from our huge range to any Large Square or purse pocket invitation; again this is no extra cost. We like to keep things as simple and as easy as possible. Just ask for some samples.
We have a specific colour that we would like printed, can you colour match?
We have colour charts of our standard 15 shades per colour for you to choose from. However if your perfect shade is not on our colour charts we will colour match for you. You just need to send us something to match from in the post. Again this service is FREE!
Can our chosen design be printed in our colour?
All designs can be printed in any colour or colours, except for a couple. Please see the details on the website.
We would like our chosen design printed in a mixture of two or three colours?
Some of our designs are a 1 colour print like flock for example; however Laura is actually a 2 or 3 colour print, so you can mix any three colours to get exactly what you are looking for. We can do anything as we print everything here especially for you, please ask about other designs and we can help you get a bespoke colour mix for you.
We love the Design but we would love our Initials printed on the front, can you do this?
We can add or change any wording on the front of any design, for example "Wedding Invitation” “Chloe and Mark" "Our Special Day" "C&S", the options are endless. Personalising your Invitations is exactly what we want to do for you.
Envelopes
Do you address all envelopes for us?
Yes we do. Any product that has an envelope can be addressed for you. The real beauty of it is; that you only have to set up an address once and it remains on your account throughout the lifecycle of you order with us. So you get an addressed envelope for Save the Date cards, Invitations and Thank you cards, saving you hours of hand writing.
We address all envelopes with beautiful transparent address labels in order not to detract from the finish of your chosen envelope.
We would like to see what other envelope options are available?
We offer a wide range of envelopes choices; you can review the options from our envelope section and even ask us to send you extra samples.
If we choose a different envelope will it cost any extra?
You can choose any envelope option you like, no extra charges.
Fonts
Your formatted Text layouts options are great but we don’t see one we think is perfect for us, are these the only options for us to choose from?
We have worked with text and fonts for years and have been able to design these layouts based on what actually looks nice and what works when printed. We will however work with other fonts for you if you prefer, please ask us for a list of other font options.
What colours can you print our font in?
We advise that you have all fonts printed in Black, Dark Grey or Dark Gold. Some fonts work best in different colours, we can advise you on this.
Payment
When do you require payment?
We require full payment when you place your order online. Or if you pay the deposit we invoice you when you start proofing. We don't print anything until full payment has been received.
Do we have to pay for my whole order at once?
You can order and pay for your Stationery bit by bit, Save the dates, Invitations, Wedding Day Stationery and then Thank you cards.
Discounts
Do you offer Discounts?
We are sorry that we can’t offer discounts; we have however reduced our prices by over 20% in the last 18 months to make our products available to everyone. Our quality and service can't be matched for our prices.
Invitations
When should we send our Invitations out?
Etiquette used to be 8 weeks before the Wedding Date. With busy lives and holidays it is now standard to send out your Invitations about 12-16 weeks before the Wedding date.
How many Invitations should we order?
As we print your recipients names on your Invitation you will know exactly how many to order. We do however advise everyone to adds a few extra blank ones for those last minute guests.
If we need some additional Invitations after we have received our initial order, is this possible?
Absolutely, even it is only one! There will be no extra charge for the small amount, just simply the price of the invitations plus a new P&P amount.
Can we opt out of having our guest’s names on the Invitations?
Absolutely, we can offer you two options. We can print a blank line for you write your own guests names or we can print a generic invite that could be sent to anyone.
We love the Pocket Fold but we would like a Notes Card instead of an RSVP, can I swap the RSVP for the Notes Card.
Yes you can, you just need to let us know. Just order the Invite with the RSVP only. We will set you up with a Notes card instead.
Do our Large Square or Purse Pocket Fold Invitations come with the ribbon tied around?
No, the invitations get delivered with your RSVP, Notes cards and RSVP Envelopes. This allows you add anything extra into the pocket. You just need to match the correct envelope to the invitation. The ribbon is also cut to an extra length, you just need to tie the ribbon and cut the ends of the ribbon with very sharp scissors.
We are trying to save some money here, what do you recommend?
We have designed 4 styles of invitations to fit into every budget, Purse Pocket Fold, most expensive, Square Pocket Fold; less expensive, Postcard Pocket Fold; less expensive again, Invitation Card; our cheapest option. Each style is available in all the designs; choose the style/s that fit into our budget.
Languages
Can you print in other languages?
Yes, we've printed French, Spanish, Italian, Hungarian, Czech, Hebrew and many others. This is all at no additional cost.
Save the Date Cards
When should we send our Save the Date cards out to our Guests?
These are a relatively new idea. We recommend that you can send these out 9-12 months before the wedding date.
Order of Services
How many Order of Services do we need to order for 100 guests?
This is tricky; our recommendation is that you either order 1 for everyone, expensive option!
Or, Order the same amount as your Day Invitations plus a few extra ones
How do we lay out the text for the Order of Service in the “Guest Notebook”?
The answer is you don’t format it. We ask that you only type in exactly the wording that you want in the correct order. We will format it for you; make it look evenly spaced using your fonts. We then proof it with you.
Table Stationery
Do you do Table Stationery to match our Invitations?
Yes, even if you have used bespoke colours, we can print matching Table Stationery.
How many Menus should we order?
Either 1 for everyone, or 2 for a table of 6, 3 for a table of 8 or 4 for a table of 10. It nice not to give one to everyone, it gets people talking to each other. It’s a good icebreaker!
Should we only give favours to the ladies?
Traditionally yes, but it is more and more common to have favours for all your guests.
Table Plans
We have looked at your Table Plan, how is it finished?
The Table plan is mounted on board and framed with a board edging, a really lovely item.
How do you lay out the guests on each table?
We ask you how your tables are set out. We have a few images on the website take a look.
How are Table Plans delivered to me?
They are delivered by courier. We do charge an additional package and postage cost for this item.
Thank you Cards
Do thank you cards come with a message?
The standard is for us to print Thank You cards blank (except for the design as most customers prefer a personal hand written message.
However we do offer to print a generic message on your Thank you cards.
We don’t know how many Thank you cards we need until after the Wedding, how do we order these?
Update the “Guestbook” after you come back with your requirements and we will get these printed for you as soon as we can.
Postage and Packaging
What are your postage and packaging charges?
We charge a £12.50 postage and packaging charge per delivery.
For example if you order Invitations and Table Stationery you will receive two separate deliveries, therefore we will charge for two deliveries.
All orders are despatched by Parcel Force 24 hours. All orders need to be signed for.
